Every backing track in our shop is completely re-produced from scratch. The music is performed, programmed, arranged and mixed specifically for each production, with great attention to detail and with the goal of capturing the character and sound of the original cast recording as closely as possible.

No AI-generated music

The music you hear in our backing tracks is not generated by artificial intelligence.

I produce every track myself using professional music-production tools, high-quality sampled instruments and real musical performance. My setup includes Cubase Pro, two piano keyboards, a wind controller and carefully selected premium sample libraries.

Having spent many years performing on musical theatre stages myself, I know what singers need from a backing track: musicality, authenticity, dynamics and a production that supports the performer rather than getting in the way.

The result is backing music made by a musician, for vocalists and performers – with the details, flexibility and feel that matter on stage.

Our tracks are available as direct downloads in a compressed format, primarily AAC 192 kbps. Older tracks may be available as MP3.

Uncompressed WAV versions can also be made available on request for a small additional charge.

I have been on musical theatre stages myself for many years. Today, I put that experience into every backing track I produce – from the arrangement and instrumentation to the mix and the smallest musical details.
